Abyss

The sky is
overcast today.
Just one huge cloud.
The sky is just one
shade of abyssal gray.
If you look too long at
it you will fall
upwards.

Daydreaming, I
walked through
the streets of a faraway
city in winter
in the early
morning.

I can still hear
the morning
noises and the
sound my feet
made on the
sidewalk tiles.
