It occurred to me today that we lose an instant
of the world around us when we blink. Thus
reality is not continuous, but discontinuous. We
see things in discrete chunks.

But when we dream, do we blink? We are in a
permanent blink then. Perhaps the dream world
is there when we blink in the waking world?
Perhaps...
